mission statement
Here in the SGHS Media Center, we are dedicated to having a place where students can gather to read, research, use technology and collaborate. We support the Gwinnett County curriculum with resources that foster 21st Century critical thinking and learning skills, while providing students with the resources they need to achieve their academic goals.
Welcome to the comet learning center!
This Website is here to serve as an "after school" extension of the Media Center, so please use the links to access information about research, databases, Web 2.0 and other useful tools that are available for you. Need assistance? Stop in for us to help you. We look forward to getting to know you!

The Gwinnett Country Public Schools Online Research Library is one stop shop for all of your learning needs. Whether you simply need pictures for GSuite, PowerPoint or scholarly literary criticism for your latest AP Lit essay, the GCPS online Research Library should be your first stop--it's like having a research assistant sift through everything you'd normally get through an internet search and only shows you the very best information. Another plus is that many of the databases communicate with Scrible so keeping track of your citations has never been easier. Get there through your eClass/Student Portal and you won't need any sort of username or password. From home, you will need to use your eClass and Online Research passwords. If you have questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with Ms. Hoover, Ms. Anderson, or one of our Library Science students.
Note* :
